Thank you all so much for such a successful campaign, your support means so much to us and we wouldn't be able to create projects like this without you!
As a Thank You...
We will add the human and demon forms of Varys to the adventure book for everyone! So you can all have the epic final encounter and put an end to Varys forever!
I spoke to Ryan about this last week and we both thought that as the illustrations are almost complete, it would be a shame to not add this majestic creature to the book if we didn't hit the stretch goal... so here is the most up-to-date illustration of Varys, Herald of Avarice! Just to note, we will not be adding everything from the third stretch goal. We will just add the illustrations and stat blocks for the human and demon form of Varys.

Backerkit Survey + Extra Add-On Options
In approximately 2 weeks, I will be sending out the Backerkit Survey. These will allow you to add any extra information required for your pledge tier, such as which VTT version you'd like or how you'd like your name to appear in the credits. Backerkit will also be how we collect your shipping information and payment. We will work over the next couple of months to get the best shipping rates possible for your country!
And the extra add-ons will include items such as the following:
Posters of the Official Artwork (A2 or A3 size)
More Dice Variations (Blue, Purple, Orange)
Stickers
Etc...
We're also exploring the idea of getting playmats made featuring artwork from Scourge of the Tyrant King (like the TCG playmats used for games like Magic:The Gathering). I've thought for a while that I'd like to have a playmat to keep all my things on and to roll dice on, rather than just using a little dice tray... maybe it's just me, but I like to have a clear area with all my things organised on it :D Let me know in the comments if this is something you would like too!!
So keep your eyes peeled for regular updates coming on progress for the project, and I will let you know the day before the Backerkit surveys are going to be sent out!

Stretch Goal 2 Unlocked! - One of the Largest Creatures in DnD Lurks in Those Tunnels...

Stretch Goal 2 - UNLOCKED!!!
You heard correct! Stretch Goal 2 has been hit and that means the Ashendire Sewers chapter will be added to the adventure.
So... what lurks in those sewers? And why is it so big?!
Introducing... The Voralex!!!
This is just the tip of one limb...
The Voralex is a disgusting amalgamation brought on by the greed curse. A single, lowly ooze was blindly sliding itself through the dank sewers when it was set upon by a golden light. Now infused with demonic power, the ooze absorbed everything it touched down in the sewer, growing larger and more powerful with everything it engulfs. Vein-like tendrils of filth cover the walls of the sewer. Rodent shaped faces press through the fleshy exterior, appearing to scream in pain. A central fleshy ball sits hidden in the depths of the sewers as its limbs extend for miles throughout the city's sewer system. It seems the only way to stop this creature is to find its epicentre and destroy it.
The sewers are also home to the local thieves'guild; The Mother's Mantle. This group is led by a fierce and devious warrior, the Thief's Matron, Vieri. As supplies dwindle, she struggles to keep the peace while the guild hide out in the sewers, hoping to wait out the corruption. The people of the city already find it hard to resist greed, but what hope do thieves have? Vieri is desperate and the Voralex is making any chance of escape impossible. Vieri knows a secret way into the castle, and she will reveal it if the party choose to help her. What will happen at your table?
Third Stretch Goal - PREVIEW
The third Stretch Goal is now revealed! Here is the secret final boss... Can we hit it with the little time we have left?? This may be the only way to end the greed curse forever...

The Greedy Guzzler tavern is ran by a monstrous cook, Gribelly, the Butcher. The patrons were drawn in by the smell of roasting meats and fresh bread, but once they started eating, they couldn't stop.
Ryan has worked super hard on the illustration of this grotesque monstrosity, and it really shows! Take a look...
I love how grim this scene is and the extra little details really just make this scene a perfect representation of how the greed curse is destroying the city of Ashendire!

Killer of Giants is a DnD 5E game of gaining knowledge. In the lead up to the hit, you attempt to learn an accurate stat block of your target. A trip to the library may reveal damage vulnerabilities or immunities (although a bad roll may misinform you). A trip to the armoury gives you access to thousands of traps to craft. An interview with an eye witness may reveal the weapons the giant uses. Tracking your prey may reveal how strong they are. Stalking your prey may reveal the perfect place for traps and where and when to strike.
When it's time to strike, take the giant out in a surprise round, and your rep as assassins increases, allowing you to charge more for the next hit, craft better traps, buy better items and feel like a heavy metal hero!
Killer of Giants features seven hits. Each hit has a challenge rating and a suggested group number and level so you can work your way up, or select one hit as a drop in or a one-shot for any party.
Contest for the Crown is an immersive adventure that throws your heroes into the deep end—tasking them with managing a small barony. It’s not just about battling foes; your players will need to navigate tough decisions, intense roleplay, and high-stakes action. Can your heroes rise to the challenge of ruling? In "Harvest of the Damned," players are drawn into the mysterious and foreboding town of Crow's Hollow, where something sinister has taken root. Good day backers!
We are off to an amazing start with the campaign! We've already surpassed the highest grossing LunaBear Games project and the project is coming along amazingly.
We couldn't be more appreciative for the reception the project has had and for all the support you've shown us! Thank you all so much :) I do have a some news and some project updates to show off!
Something amazing happened a couple of days ago... I was contacted by the lead organiser for Tabletop Scotland (the largest tabletop gaming convention in Scotland) and I've been asked to be an exhibitor at the convention next week! It's very late notice because a publisher dropped out, the organiser came across this Kickstarter campaign and liked the look of it so much, they asked me to exhibit!
I'm still in shock and trying to wrap my head around it, but I know I wouldn't be able to do this without your support! Thank you, thank you, thank you again!

Stretch Goal 1 Update - The Jailer's Flail
There has been some progress made to the first Strech Goal and we have something to show you!
"The tinkling of chains alerts you to the Jailer's presence. Gripped at the end of his spindly arm is a wicked looking flail. Oppressive, spiked padlocks swing from the end of heavy chains. A single swing could smash through stone."
The Jailer's Flail is a wicked implement and magic item that will be included in Scourge of the Tyrant King because you all helped to smash through the first Stretch Goal! All you need to do is defeat The Jailer and the weapon is yours!

The Ashendire sewers are a labyrinth of filth and disease, but are a great way to navigate the city without drawing the attention of Aldric's guards. The local thieves' guild, The Mother's Mantle, ruled the sewers, but something is spreading and the sewers have never been more dangerous... The thieves' guild are already buckling under the weight of the greed curse, but something worse is engulfing the putrid tunnels... And it's not stopping.
What smells so bad down here? Apart from the raw sewage, of course...
